As I enter my 8th year of teaching, I finally feel like I’ve got a formula my teacher outfits mostly figured out!
I’ve learned the key to getting dressed with ease in the morning while also feeling put together and comfortable, is having a variety of well-made items that I can easily mix-and-match.
This includes:
- A handful of pretty tops and blouses
- A few sweaters and cardigans for layering when temperatures drop
- Do yourself a favor and get a few of these to wear under your cardigans and sweaters!
- Comfortable, well-made jeans that I actually enjoy wearing
- A couple pretty dresses
- Some accessories to bring everything together
- Stylish but comfortable shoes I can teach in all day
- A jacket or two
- And of course a teacher backpack or tote or both!
Reminder! Ideally we want these items to mix and match for the most part!
And that you feel good in each item you own. Or else, you probably won’t wear it very often!
